 There are several major subsidiaries including Sunshine Property and Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. (Sunshine P&C) and Sunshine Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (Sunshine Life), etc, within Sunshine Insurance Group. Officially founded on January 23, 2008, Sunshine Insurance Group is restructured from Sunshine Insurance Holding Group, which was established on June 27, 2007.
 
 By the mid of 2008, Sunshine Insurance Group had provided over 20,000 jobs nationwide, paid tax of RMB 600 million, and reached total assets of RMB 31.19 billion, almost 30 times that of 2005.

With a better and quicker development trend, Sunshine P&C has realized a premium income of RMB 1.75 billion in 2006 and RMB 4.15 billion in 2007, which has broken the records written by the newly-established P&C insurers for two consecutive years and remains the first place in terms of annual investment yield for two years in succession. Achieving a profit of RMB 23.08 million in 2007, Sunshine Insurance successfully moved up into the “second league” from the “third league” and entered the Top 10 of the 43 national P&C insurance companies.
 
 Launched on December 17, 2007, with a registered capital of RMB 500 million, Sunshine Life is a specialized national life insurance company mainly engaging in providing life insurance, health insurance and accident insurance. Hence, a perfect organizational structure and platform, with Sunshine Insurance Group steering the direction while Sunshine P&C and Sunshine Life is the two power engines, has been successfully built, which also explains its unprecedented growth and development of the whole group.
