China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group)
 
Funded wholly by the State, as a State authorized investment arm and State-owned controlling company, China Petrochemical Corporation is a super large oil petrifaction enterprise. Headquartered in Beijing, it is registered with a capital of 104.9 billion yuan. Its holding subsidiary Sinopec has been listed in Hong Kong, New York, London and Shanghai. It ranks 16th in the 2008 FORTUNE Global 500, 17th in 2007 and 23rd in 2006.

 

China Southern Airlines (CSA)
 
Being one of the three leading airlines groups in China, China Southern Airlines tops the list in terms of passenger traffic volume, scheduled flights per week, flight hours, flight routes as well as fleet size. Its major subsidiary China Southern Airlines Company Limited has many sub-companies across China and has opened some offices in major cities abroad. It is the newest member of SkyTeam and has been honored with the Five-Star Flight Safety Award by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

 

Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO)
 
Invested by the State, Aluminum Corporation of China is state-owned, massive and key enterprise. Its holding subsidiary China Aluminum Corporation Limited has been listed in New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai, and was included as the constituent stock of Hang Seng Composite Index Series, FTSE and the China Index in the US stock market. It has been rated BBB+ by Standard & Poor’s for several years in succession. It ranks 476th in the 2008 FORTUNE Global 500.

 

China National Foreign Trade Transportation (Group) Corporation (SINOTRANS )
 
Being the largest global cargo transportation enterprise in China, Sinotrans Ltd. provides integrated logistics service to customers including sea, air and road transportation, storage and terminal services, express services, shipping agency and freight forwarding business, mainly operated by its 1,000 plus subsidiary companies nationwide. By the end of 2007, Sinotrans Ltd. had 21,775 employees, a total asset of 20.302 billion yuan, and a net asset of 11.356 billion yuan.

 

Guangdong Electric Power Development Co., Ltd.
 
It is the largest listed company of electric power within Guangdong province so far, which had issued A share in 1993 and B share in1995. It has been selected into “Top 100 China’s Listed Companies” consecutively since 1997 and ranked No.9 in 2004. Since 1998, it has been chosen as “Top 50 of Asian Most Potential Listed Companies” for seven consecutive years.
