Sunshine Insurance Group Donates Two Hope Schools

In tears and laughter, poor children in remote mountain areas in China’s southwest Guizhou province and China’s south Hunan province finally embraced their honored guests afar in June, 2008, and they knew that their primary education could be guaranteed at least.

Sunshine Insurance Group Assistant President Zhao Zongren and some local branch heads of Sunshine P&C Insurance attended the donation ceremonies of two Sunshine Insurance Hope Schools. Zhenshankou Village Primary School, Daping Township, Rucheng County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province got 250,000 yuan while Meitan Primary School, Manshan Township, Meitan County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province was given 280,000 yuan.

At the beginning of this year, aiming to help the snow disaster relief work in China’southern areas, Sunshine Insurance Group had collected over 500, 000 yuan from its staff. Now after careful study and investigation on the site, Sunshine Insurance Group made its mind to put this sum of money into the education of backward countryside.

Though the money was not much, it did represent our hearts, which hopefully could help those poor children grow healthier and happier, said Zhao Zhongren on the behalf of Sunshine Insurance Group.
